Our present women's dancing community began to really take shape way back in 1992 when Geri Shapiro began to offer Friday night women's partner dancing at what is now the Monclair Women's Cultural Center. She called her dance "Country Nights" and ran it for 7 years, before passing leadership onto Zoe Balfour who made it her own, and gave it a new name. With Geri's blessing in 2010, I decided I wanted to return the dance to its original name with my own flair. Hope to see you out there on the floor soon! Joanna
Country Nights also has had the recent pleasure of DJ'ing several birthday parties, community events, and even a Wedding Celebration in the last year and a half. Please feel free to email for more information!
